KPMG Expands Footprint with New Office Launch in Nadi, Fiji”

KPMG Fiji reached a notable milestone in its expansion within the South Pacific as it celebrated the opening of its new Nadi office. The office is in the modern, cutting-edge ‘Star One’ KPMG Building on Queen’s Road.

Lisa Apted, the Managing Partner of KPMG Fiji, expressed her excitement about the new office, emphasizing that it has been meticulously designed to foster smooth client interactions, offer an ideal working environment for the staff, and incorporate cultural elements in its layout and ambience.

Apted highlighted KPMG’s continuous growth journey, which started in 2021 with the upgrade and expansion of its Fiji office network. She emphasized that KPMG remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting its clients’ business success while prioritizing its staff’s well-being and productivity. 

Apted further discussed the establishment of Fiji Dynamix (FDX), KPMG Fiji’s delivery center, initiated due to their integration with KPMG Australia in 2021 and the formation of KPMG’s South Pacific Practice.

FDX operates as an essential component of the Australian team while serving a crucial function within the Nadi office and the more comprehensive South Pacific Practice. This integration highlights the collaborative efforts and seamless cooperation across KPMG’s network to provide top-notch services to their clients in the South Pacific region.

During the official opening ceremony of the Nadi office, Naomi Mitchell, Australian Managing Partner of KPMG Enterprise, praised KPMG Fiji’s outstanding talent, state-of-the-art technology resources, and robust business model.

She commended the firm for its remarkable growth since its integration with KPMG Australia.

Mitchell highlighted KPMG Enterprise’s expanding client base in the South Pacific, where they actively support successful Fijian businesses, private sector organisations, family offices, and individual practices.

As of July, KPMG Fiji’s workforce has grown significantly, with 257 Partners and staff.

The firm has been actively recruiting talent, with a record number of nearly 60 graduates hired in January and an additional intake of 20 graduates in June.

The inauguration of the new Nadi office marks a crucial milestone in KPMG Fiji’s strategic expansion plan, underscoring their dedication to providing top-notch services and promoting growth in the South Pacific region.
