TechInPacific – The internet connectivity may have barely covered the rest of the Namuavoivoi village in Bua, but college students have figured a way to keep their online classes going.

The students of Dreketi Central College go to Uluikita hill every day, sitting under a tent to attend their classes held on Google Meet.

The school principal, Emosi Kuli said the idea came in order to continue classes for the students, especially for students with upcoming exams this year.

Kuli believes the method of learning will allow students to learn interactively from their teachers.

One of the parent representatives, Inosi Salababa shared their happiness about the continuance of classes despite the ongoing pandemic and the difficulties it brought upon.
