Phandeeyar Start-up Challenge 2020 Opens For Application

TechInPacific – Aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs in the Pacific Islands are invited for the Start-up Challenge 2020, a nine-day event to catalyze and kickstart any business ideas across multiple sectors.

The event, which Phandeeyar hosted, attempts to ‘bring the emerging tech community together to create tangible tech solutions tackling big problems in Samoa, Fiji, and PNG.

The challenge is ideal for entrepreneurs wanting to build a startup, working with startup founders, or SMEs wishing to implement technology tools in their existing business model.

It will train and test the participating team’s skill in modeling their businesses to practical levels. The teams will develop product prototype, marketing channels, financial planning, and pitching to potential investors or finding customers.

The allowed members in a team are 3-5 people, and any individual who signs up for himself will be matched to an existing team.

The event also offers Launchpad for established startups or enterprises, a 4-6 week comprehensive training to refine their knowledge and business operations, thus allows participants to receive coaching, gaining insights, connect with other players in the business.

The event will be held online to adjust with the current situation.
