The Department of Information and Communication Information’s Information Dissemination Division got Brand Strategy and Brand Management Training to help advance the Digital Transformation Agenda.
The training took place on December 12th and 13th.
The Department of ICT realigns itself with Papua New Guinea’s Vision 2050 and key ICT policies, as well as how it aims to communicate policies and outcomes through effective branding and communications.
The workshop and training will help the information team of DICT learn how to create a brand strategy for a government agency. They will also learn about the parts of DICT and how to manage the Department’s brand after 2023.
The training is part of the Department’s plan to give the in-house information team new and innovative skills in branding and managing digital content.
This not only helps the team manage the Department brand professionally, but it also helps other government agencies manage their public image by using the right branding techniques and getting information out efficiently and transparently through digital channels like social media, website, social media, email, and so on.
